AFM-Telethon is a leader in rare genetic disease research. The association is involved in the research of new therapies developed thanks to genetic knowledge: biotherapies. The first treatments that will allow us to cure patients with rare diseases are being created.

AFM-Téléthon is currently supporting 36 clinical trials in humans, that concern immune system diseases, blood, and eye as well as muscle diseases. These trials also represent a real hope for people who suffer from more frequent diseases such as age-related macular degeneration, leukemia, sickle cell anemia, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, etc.

Thanks to this innovative research, France has become the leader in terms of genetic research and has opened a new era for medicine.
AFM-Téléthon is also a leader in terms of innovation in the social field: the association fights so that patients can be citizens like anyone else (help for care-givers,, adapted housing, technical help, support for families, etc.).
Our sponsorship programs offer you the possibility to efficiently support medical research and autonomy for persons with disabilities. Meanwhile, you also allow your company to answer social responsibility issues, to develop its impact on civil society and to communicate about its commitment to solidarity and citizenship.
