The 30th Telethon will take place on December 2nd and 3rd 2016. This big event is gearing up and will be brought by the ambassadors who embody the association’s battle.

This year, there are 4 families, from different horizons, but all with a common goal against the disease:

  • Mandine is 30 years old; she is affected by a calpainopathy, a progressive disease affecting muscles.
  • Léo is 10 years old; he is affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy. He is now included in a clinical trial in the I-Motion institute.
  • Elena is 5 years old; she is affected by Crigler-Najjar syndrome, a rare liver disease.
  • Matthieu is 16 years old; he is affected by Leber Hereditary Optic Neuropathy. He lost eyesight in just a few months.
Along them, this year, other faces are joining in. Jérémy, Xavier, Fanny or Céline… they are volunteers, researchers or from the family, they contribute their own way to the fight against rare genetic diseases.
